2016 – Raymond John Patrick "Ray" Columbus OBE, singer, songwriter, TV host, music manager and entertainer, founder of The Dominoes, front-man for Ray Columbus & The Invaders. "She's a Mod" was the first song from a New Zealand band to hit the top of the Australian charts. Ray toured with The Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison, The Newbeats, played a Royal Variety performance and was opening act for 1974 NZ Commonwealth Games. He had a heart attack in 2004, and a stroke in 2007, and died from an immune deficiency caused by medications
